The mission of FSA Counseling is to improve the lives of individuals and families by providing affordable, quality counseling and education. In 2018, FSA provided direct services to 1,284 people, providing 7,200 hours of service. Children accounted for 31% of our clients, while 50% of clients have a household income of less than $40,000. Single parents with children comprise 41% of those seen. Fees for services are often covered by insurance and Medicaid or Medicare. In addition, through the United Way, FSA is able to provide counseling at a reduced rate based upon household income.
